Medals & Ribbons of the Unseen

For a basic understanding of the The Unseen Rewards System
There are many awards, and they will continue to grow as we gain knowledge from Star Atlas’ continuing evolution. However, the following will remain the backbone of our rewards system.
As always, if you have questions regarding rewards, please reach out to your operation admin team.
Examples
In the example Ribbons below the stars indicate each additional 90 days of service after you have received your base service ribbon.
90 Days of Service
This is the Base Fleet Service Ribbon. This ribbon was earned after 90 days of Fleet service. Upon receiving the ribbon the recipient was currently a Crewman.
270 Days of Service
This ribbon was earned after 270 days of Fleet service. The recipient of this Ribbon was Currently a Flight Sergeant.
450 Days of Service
This ribbon was earned after 450 days of Fleet service. The recipient of this Ribbon was Currently a Flight Sergeant.
630 Days of Service
This ribbon was earned after 630 days of Fleet service. The recipient of this Ribbon was Currently a Lieutenant Commander.
750 Days of Service
This ribbon was earned after 750 days of Fleet service. The recipient of this Ribbon was Currently an Admiral. The Silver indicates a 750 Day Milestone with 0 red Rirs.
1000 Days of Service
This ribbon was earned after 1k days of Fleet service. The recipient of this Ribbon was Currently a Fleet Admiral. The gold indicates a 1k day milestone with 0 RED rirs.
The examples below are base level medals. The first time you are awarded a medal it will contain the operation medallion and stripes with no stars or borders.
If you receive the same award multiple times, your medal will be upgraded with stars. Each star represents 1 additional award as shown below. Silver & Gold Stripes on the upgraded medals indicate Elite Milestones. Refer to the operation Medals & Ribbons pages for detailed descriptions.
Please note that medals will be extremely difficult to achieve
Member ID Cards
All rewards received by members of the Unseen will be housed in their individual Member ID card. These cards will also hold important information about each member. You can access the member ID card of any member from the Unseen by clicking on their name within the operation roster.
The player ID cards below are intended for educational purposes only.

Current Rank
This shows your current rank within your operation.

Date Promoted
Here you can see the date of your most recent promotion.

Current Operation
This shows which operation you are currently a member of within the Unseen. You can request approval to change operations through your current operation admin team.

Date Enlisted
This shows the date that the member became a part of The Unseen. This will not change.

Flagship
This will show the member's current flagship.

Reports To
This will reflect your current commanding officer. The person you take direct orders from and report to on a daily basis.

Admin
This will reflect the name of your administrator. This person will be responsible for your Player ID card updates. RIR tracking and various other administrative responsibilities.

Dao Voter
This will confirm your status as a guild dao voting member.

Discord Tag
Your discord name and #. Required for communication.

Twitter
(Optional) Your twitter callsign.

Commendations
The area in the middle of the member ID card will be reserved for commendations. All Ribbons and Medals earned by a member will be displayed here. In the example to the right, the member has recieved a ribbon for service in the Unseen Fleet as well as a Fleet combat Ribbon. This member has also received a medal for service and combat. Detailed descriptions of Ribbons and Medals can be found via the operations reward pages found at the top of this page.

RIRs - Recorded Incident Reports
Recorded Incident Reports will be common throughout the Unseen. Good or bad, your RIRs will be shown at the bottom of your ID Card. The examples to the right are very basic. RIRs can be a good (green) or bad (red). If you receive too many red RIRs you could be demoted, removed from your operation position, or removed from the Unseen roster entirely. Receiving Green RIRs is a fast track to promotion. Not all RiRs will result in promotion or demotion. Detailed information on RiRs can be found in all operations manuals. Admins will update Player ID cards with RiRs & current member information on a monthly Basis. The ID card will only reflect your most recent RiRs.
Medals & Ribbons may be added or removed at any point to keep our guild content current.
Medals & Ribbons awarded then removed from cycle will not be removed Rewards Rack.
